  • Market: Find a segment where demand outstrips worker supply or where the cost of workers is the binding constraint.
  • Product: Determine whether one or more of these APIs can match or beat the worker's output at a fraction of the cost.
  • Go-to-market: Validate with real customers before building — stress-test the idea before spending months on the wrong product.
  • Target the buyers (those who hire the freelancers), not just the workers — they have the budget and the pain.
  • A viable idea passes all three checks: urgent market problem, a product that solves it, and a clear path to early revenue.
