Rolling EOS down to every level of your organisation
Executive overview
Most leadership teams implement EOS at the top but never connect it to frontline employees. A custodian on the manufacturing floor has no reason to care about the three-year picture unless someone builds that bridge.
The fix is linking strategy to individuals: connect the three-year picture to the one-year plan to quarterly rocks for every person in the organisation.
Resistance to EOS is almost always resistance to accountability, not the system itself.
Connecting EOS to frontline employees
- The leadership team must translate the three-year picture into something meaningful for each role.
- Ask: why does a custodian care about the three-year picture — and what's their part in it?
- When leaders answer that question, the system becomes relevant to everyone, not just the top team.
- Resistance framed as "this is too rigid" is usually avoidance of being held accountable.
- Reframe accountability as freedom: EOS creates space to do more of what people want to do.
