The four Semrush tools for tracking AI overviews

1. Position Tracking — free users get one project with 10 keywords; use the Overview tab, then the SERP Features filter to see which tracked keywords trigger AI overviews and whether you or competitors rank in them.
2. Organic Research — search any domain, go to the Overview tab, scroll to the SERP Features table, and click the AI overviews row to filter all keywords where that domain appears as a source.
3. Domain Overview — shows the percentage of a domain's keywords that trigger AI overviews, with a hover detail breaking down how many link back to that site.
4. Semrush Sensor — tracks how frequently AI overviews appear across industries; filter by industry or business niche to see overall prevalence in Google results.
