3. Screened peer group — members are selected, not open-access; unvetted entrants dilute quality and introduce negativity
4. External accountability — a third party tracks progress; leaderboards, dashboards, and real consequences for being on or off track; self-accountability is not accountability
5. Resources — the environment gives direct access to what you need: investors, partners, software, connections
