Reduce visual noise with filters and Me Mode

• Me Mode filters every view to tasks assigned only to you — activate it globally or per view.
• Group tasks by due date; collapse overdue and no-due-date groups to focus on today.
• If you use dependencies, add a filter: "dependency does not have waiting on" — shows only unblocked tasks you can act on now.

Trim notifications to what actually matters

• Default notification settings flood your inbox with irrelevant updates.
• Turn off anything you wouldn't want a good assistant to interrupt you with.
• Keep only high-signal alerts (e.g. dependencies unblocked); turn off the rest.

Simplify your ClickUp structure

• A bloated workspace — 30 spaces, 20 lists — hides work and kills momentum.
• Hard maximum for solopreneurs: 3 spaces. No extra folders or lists.
• A clean hierarchy means you always know where to go and what to do next.

Use enforcement automations to nag yourself

• Enforcement automations are triggers that remind or nudge you — the system becomes the bad guy, not you.
• Example: when a task is created without a due date, auto-post a comment prompting you to add one.
• Example: when a start date arrives, send yourself a comment: "This project starts now."
• These self-nudges surface in notifications even in a single-user account.

Enable personal workspace layout

• Found in workspace settings; only works if you are the sole user (no guests).
• Strips out team-based features, auto-assigns everything to you, and declutters the entire interface.
• Removes friction so ClickUp gets out of its own way.
