The five-step RNT framework

1. Reflect on the past (15 min) — List what you're proud of and what you regret; wins reveal momentum, regrets reveal what needs fixing
2. Anchor the present — Note where you feel confident (strengths to double down on) and where you feel lack (missing skills, hires, or processes)
3. Envision the future — Write what excites you (opportunities) and what worries you (pitfalls to mitigate)
4. Identify the RNT — Review all six lists; brainstorm 5–7 initiatives that increase pride, confidence, and excitement while reducing regret, lack, and worry; rank by impact; the top item is your RNT
5. Commit, then get out of the way — Empower your team to execute; resisting the urge to do it yourself is the hardest part
